And that itself is the defect.

I guess I’d want to know for myself what, exactly, was posted. Lots of insinuation and quoted opinion in that article, not much in the way of concrete examples.

Frankly, some of what I’ve read about some of the posts that got these officers in trouble disgusts me. If they’re not smart enough to not post dumb shit on FB/social media, then it’s probably no great loss to the agency if they get canned. Think twice, read twice, then hit submit.

If true, that is just all sorts of misguided fucked up, right there.

If folks only knew some of the shit that good LE work saves them from, they’d straight up be buying their coffee.

Actually, I just did that (buy coffee) for a bud on the local PD; that’s how I know that there’s been some crazy saves in my town in the last year.

I disliked eating on-duty so I ate before and after and carried some old C-rats (and eventually MRE's) for unplanned long-term incidents. I routinely brought 2 old Thermos with water (this was before plastic water bottle were a thing) and then water bottles.

I always find it amusing that the individual vendors, placed into a situation whereby they must offend one-half of these issues, invariably never seem to say, "Well ma'am, we are sorry to lose your business, here is a refund, thank you, good bye."

The actual coffee shop where the Lakewood Four were murdered has been renamed the BlueSteele Coffee Shop and it offers a scholarship for those interested in becoming first responders. https://bluesteelecoffee.com/bluesteele-scholarship/

I found some way over the line, most of it just dumb stuff that shouldn't be posted under your real name, and a handful of seemingly innocuous posts I wonder why PVP included.

It’s true. One of the Starbucks VPs flew into Phoenix and has sent a letter apologizing to Tempe PD. A lot of local coffee shops are hammering SB and giving free coffee to LE this week.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.
