Quick and dirty on a kydex holster option for the new Cobra...

For the 4 1/2 people on here who are interested in these new snakes. One of the biggest drawbacks at the moment is a paucity of kydex available for these guns; owners are pretty much relegated to leather, eg. SP-101 leather.

I tried a kydex trigger guard from Alabama Holsters, since they listed the new Cobra, but the fit was not very good at all. It went into the castoff holster box almost immediately upon opening the package.

Then I found this guy: https://www.gunnerscustomholsters.biz and he also listed a Cobra option, so I ordered up two samples, an IWB and another trigger guard. Both are perfectly serviceable. Not only that, but the turn around time from order to holster in hand was less than a week. Not bad at all. We are not talking JMCK level fit and finish, for sure, but certainly serviceable, and very inexpensive.

FWIW, if you have a Cobra. Pics:

Looks like it might be one of the few kydex options for a SP101 as well.

Looks like they offer holsters to fit a lot of lights and lasers as well.

I've been using a Gunner holster for a year and a half. It works.

I think the Night Cobra is one of the best guns Colt has put out in quite some time.
