    A late post-war M&P joins the herd

Can't resist adding another K-frame. This one is a nice S-prefix, post-war (circa late '47), M&P wearing slightly undersized Franzite grips:

Going to swap the grips for a set of walnut magnas; the Franzite looks pretty fragile and I don't want them to crack. Range day coming up this weekend; already have the 148gr HBWC's loaded up to shoot some of Claude Werner's revolver drills.

Cool looking gun. I think a Tyler T grip would look pretty good on it too.

    And some nice leather

    And a Randall

A Lawrence #120 holster and a Randall #1 with a stacked leather handle would be just about perfect.

I could imagine that that action on your K Frame is smooth as butter.
Nice find. Hoping you have lotsa good trigger time with it.

I'm there with you. Mine was manufactured in 48. Love that long smooth action. I've owned mine since 2009. Very nice shooter and I like the five inch barrel.

That's one of the nicest of it's type I have seen in a while.
