Any new rumors re: the new ACRO?

Given current gun market, pistol slide work + optics to go with it are basically the only thing on my shopping list for the forseeable future, but don't want to go in and buy a 2nd ACRO if there is a newer model on the horizon.

Could this be an updated ACRO?

I'd be really surprised if it was. Firstly from an engineering standpoint. Secondly from a marketing standpoint. As best I can tell that is some sort of exclusive package branded with Vickers (whatever one happens to think about the guy) and I'm not sure they'd do that with a flagship product.

    I could be wrong.

I completely agree, but I can hope.

Probably a Vickers Glock grip plug that holds an extra battery.

A 2032 battery Acro has been “30 days out” since summer. Not sure if this is it or something different. Looks like they are channeling Trijicon with the box.

I'm currently running my ACRO on a light AR using a Reptilia lower 1/3 mount. Since I'm not currently running it on a handgun I figured I might as well play with it on a rifle.

No real pro over a T2 but it has been working fine. It is small and light and pairs well with the AR. Battery life hasn't really been an issue in this case since I turn the optic off when the gun gets put away.

In the latter part of this P320 video, Larry Vickers talks about the ACRO battery life and mentions Aimpoint is working on an updated model with better battery life but provides no further details.

Ten bucks that it takes a 2032 but it isn’t a new Acro, and the new plastic case is the most exciting part.

Tactical dirt colored T2 with a Vickers logo and $99 surcharge to go with it?
