They finally woke up. Back to Texas.
They did, but only for one inning... They had a total of one hit after the first inning! Fortunately Paxton and the bullpen were on spot tonight, keeping the Asstros down. They need to come alive in the next game against Cole- and btw, let's bench Sanchez ( 0 for 3, all Ks!) and put in Romine for a chance to show his clutch hitting...

There's nothing civil about this war.
I may require more than one strong bottle of ale this evening...bourbon and single malt standing by in case called upon.
There's nothing civil about this war.
From a devout Yankees fan friend of mine (former NYPD MOS) earlier tonight: "Look on the bright side- if the Asstros win tonight, at least they won't be celebrating on Yankee turf!"
Somebody needs to get the home plate ump a seeing eye dog. At least two strikes called well off the plate. Nice way to kill the at bat for Gardner.

It seems like the Astro pitchers are getting calls wide of the plate for strikes that the Yankees pitchers are not. It's already hurt a few of our batters as there is no way they can reach those pitches.
I can't be the only one seeing this. I've never been one for win at any cost, I just ask for it to be a level playing field for both teams. We lose, we lose.
Back to crosswords to distract my mind.
