Coming back to the report itself... I saw this elsewhere before ZH ran it. It is a really big deal to me.
The report includes a transcript of a voicemail between attorneys associated with Flynn and the White House. The transcript is edited. The edit removes specific statements that one attorney does not want the other to breach any confidentiality.
I don't think the editing is unexplainable but the explanation is frightening to me. It suggests the authors assumed the evidence would never be subjected to scrutiny by opposing counsel or a judge. They just wanted to get something damaging out there.
I associate behavior like this with CNN sensationalists, not with people granted government authority and entrusted to conduct themselves ethically.
