Replacing the internals of a S&W M-49

I have a M49 which I used as a dryfire gun which has decided to give up the ghost.

Again.

(This is getting tiresome...)

I want to replace the guts of the gun as far as I can.

Are they compatable?

No. The 49 is a j-frame, the Mdl 10 is a K-frame. Many, if not most, of the parts will be different.
