Night sight options for the M9

I am in the process of upgrading the stock 3-white-dot sights to night sights to go along with my TLR-1. Here is what I am aware of right now for M9 sight options:

    1) Drill and insert tritium vial into front sight, replace rear sight with 2-dot tritiums
    2) Drill and insert tritium vial into front sight, take sharpie marker and black out rear dots

Any other ideas? I kind of like the serrated plain black rear sight (like the 10-8 sights), but I don't think any of them are compatible with M9s.

Novak makes rear sights for the 92.

Took a look at them but it seems like you would have trouble doing one handed manipulations using the rear sight due to them being such sharply sloped. Let me know if I'm wrong

I've been very pleased with the OEM Trijicons on my 92D.

They've also come up with a more protrusive "shelved" model, just to effect this sort of eventuality, called the "X Model" but I'm not sure if it's available for the Beretta 92; might be worth a call to Novak's.

Crimson Trace laser grips are also a viable low light option.
