Next glock to add a red dot to... options to consider

Usual carry gun is a G26 milled for an RMR, duty gun is a G23 with irons.
This project will mostly be a range gun, but perhaps some occasional off-duty carry.

I have a NIB J Point (same footprint as the Shield RMS) and can’t decide what to have milled to put it on.

Options are:

G48
G43 (could use that on the existing frame and/or to make a 43x with the 48 frame)
G19
or wait and see if the G44 rimfire ever materializes?

I definitely want to run a RMR or Holosun on a 43/43X slide. Almost even want to dovetail an Aimpoint Micro style dot them too...but Matt J. from Victory First has a collaboration with ATEi to direct mount the Aimpoint ACRO to his G43 slides and I noticed a DPP option too but he has not returned my email in regards of such.

For duty I would say try the G45 MOS, that’s what I’m going to do.

For concealed carry/ off duty I really, really like a G19 in the gen5 flavor. I really dislike the full size grip off duty.

Definitely 43/43X if you are thinking RMSc at some point

G45. I had one milled for an RMR and it’s about perfect except that I think I went with the wrong RMR but that’s fixable. Thinking about doing another one with a DPP.

Don’t know why you’d be looking at single stacks for a range gun.

A range rental 45 shot identically to my Gen 5 17 which I've been familiar with for over a year, and the sensation of returning for the next sight picture was shorter, as many have remarked. I think a 45 with an Acro or RM02/06 is the way to go.
