I would say that this is the modern day equivalent of the Church Committee. Yes, it's that important. What was done was wrong.

I would have more confidence if those with opposing points of view got to review the same evidence and present both the evidence and their arguments, pro and con, to the people.

This entire impeachment movement was to put pressure on Barr to release Mueller's unredacted report to a select congressional committee.
Congress got their information from John Dean (WH attorney) directly who knew everything that happened. Nixon resigned.
Congress got their information from Ken Starr (special counsel) directly, all of it. Clinton was impeached.
If Barr doesn't give up that unredacted report pretty soon congress is going to keep digging. The taxpayers paid for that report and it should be made available to a select committee. Congress is pissed and the courts are backing them up.
If there's nothing in that report regarding foreign influence then turn it over. If there is then hold it until Trump gets impeached. That seems to be the game the WH, the DOJ and Treasury is playing here. The clock is ticking. Congress has a lot more time then Trump does.

Uh, you need to go back before the President even took office, that is when the impeachment movement started. Google Maxine Waters, Al Green, Brad Sherman and the others. Russian collusion was the reason, Mueller's investigation was the solution. The investigation spent almost 2 years and 30 million to find Russian collusion. Now that Trump AND ALL OTHER AMERICANS have been cleared of Russian collusion, Democrats need a plan B.

I'll believe that when congress reviews the unredaked Mueller report. If the taxpayers spent 30 million on the Mueller report why hasn't that been made available to congress. Congress represent the people, probably why they call them representatives. I'm not taking Barr's word for it just like I'm not taking Lynch's word that everything Hillary did was legal or Holders word that everything the ATF did in Mexico was legal.

You support the president, I get that. A lot of people supported Obama. That doesn't make everything Obama did legal, does it?

None of this is about truth; it's theater and firing up their base.
All that letter says is the DOJ will give congress what they want to give them, not what they want.
Now if you would post up the documents and files, along with the unredacted report I'll pass that along to congress.

The socialist dems have been granted full access to the in-redacted report by Barr. They just don’t wish to read it. They would rather just leak certain parts to the liberal press in an attempt to remain relevant and try to paint a picture to prop up their lies. They wasted $35 million in tax payer dollars in this witch hunt.
When their guy came back after two years and stated “no collusion”, all wind left their sails. The longer they continue this farce, the more stupid they and their followers look. Let’s hope they keep going as it ensures another 4 years of winning after the 2020 election.
