Neither agreeing with Guano or disagreeing with you, but do you really think a guy who made millions in construction in NYC is a choir boy.

The whole fiasco highlights the fact that the legal system isn’t about feels, but about evidence worth prosecuting.

IMO that is exactly how it should be.

The entire DJT fiasco was a perversion of the legal system and has done more to break faith with that system than many other shitty events in recent history. I’m glad it couldn’t be made to come to fruition. Having spent some quality time with a system of “justice” devoted to the phrase show me the man and I will find a crime, I’m thrilled that the investigation fell apart and may back fire (not holding my breath).

If someone with the $$, connections and... of DJT can be hammered by people’s feels, then the average American tax payer is screwed, blued and tattooed. Anyone with 2 working brain cells should have alarms going off in their heads at that thought.

In relative terms, Hillary, Obama, DJT are inconsequential little warts on history. A change in legal theory/practice is a cancer upon us all. That’s the issue we need to tackle.

Except my moral outrage is not a political issue. I am not a supporter of either party nor did I vote for either major party candidate in the 2016 Presidential election as I believed (and still do) that neither is fit to hold that office.
I'm still trying to figure out how anyone could consciously vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Is anybody paying attention to who these people are/were?

Donald was real estate developer who lost over a billion dollars in business. Nobody loses that much money unless you're just plain stupid, especially after your father gave you millions. Most of the money he lost was other people's money that were foolish enough to believe his real estate developer BS. Lots of greedy people out looking to lose some money.

Hillary is/was an elitist political insider who happened to be married to a president with lots of political connections. If it weren't for Bill Clinton she would be a partner in some backwater law firm developing and selling real estate. Anyone remember the Blackwater?

It isn't difficult to see that neither one would make a good president if you spend 10 minutes on the internet. Yet people still vote for them.

What they gave an election and nobody showed up to vote?

No. They are figureheads for their respective tribes. Tribe A is “conservative” statism, complete with government regulation of religious choices. Tribe B is “liberal” statism, featuring government regulation of economic and property choices. Neither side gives a damn about their own figureheads corruption, and in fact endorsed it if “their side” gains an advantage.

The modern political dialogue is not about what’s best for the United States. The dialogue is about what’s best for a political block.

I used to think like you. Then I grew up and became a pragmatist

    Heard of Amazon?
    Heard of Twitter?
    Heard of General Electric?
    Heard of General Motors?

20 of the top Fortune 500 companies lost over a billion dollars in 2016.

His loss was well documented long ago and included massive write-offs that were in the tax code. The MSM is propagandizing this as the latest news about Trump. He lost it, he got it back plus. That is just how business works.

Amazon didn't file four casino bankruptcies, an airplane bankruptcy, a university bankruptcy, a food wholesale bankruptcy...

That wording indicating that someone cannot be exonerated is just seems weird. Granted, my criminal investigatory experience is limited to Forensic Files and the like. Wrongfully convicted are exonerated by DNA evidence. I understand that, but this comes across as one of those "you cant prove X exists".. "well, you can't prove that X doesn't" scenarios. Either there is evidence or there isn't.

It would have if it made good business sense.

FWIW, I had gold credit until 1996. I was all in a business with everything that I had, including all my credit. My success depended on a custom software product that was developed by one of the most highly respected developers in the industry. The software never worked. I lost everything. I was personally bankrupt. The next month I started a new business. Today I not only can say I am very comfortable, but 25 families are also supported by the business.

Every entrepreneur is gambling that they will be successful. There are winners and losers. 20% of small businesses fail in their 1st year. By year 5 there is a 50% failure. And these failures are from people that are probably working 70 hours a week or more to succeed.

Good then don't vote for him. Those of us who are more than pleased at our electoral choice really don't give a shit.
