The Europeans have limited numbers of ships and the best are very expensive. Look at the Norwegian disaster. They probably have no desire to have one sunk, lives lost and replacement costs for an argument they see Trump as starting. It's not like they love him.

And the Europeans had more ships and were willing to get involved in the 8 years prior to Trump? I think not......The Europeans want Team America to spend our Capital and Blood to secure the world while they complain and insult us - Convince Me Otherwise.

    From BBC News:

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has blamed Iran for Saturday's drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities.

He dismissed a claim by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels that they had attacked the two facilities, run by state-owned company Aramco.

Iran's foreign minister accused Mr Pompeo of "deceit".

Saudi Arabia's energy minister said the strikes had reduced crude oil production by 5.7 million barrels a day - about half the kingdom's output.

Are we ramping up the "any excuse will do" excuse? The fun never ceases.
There's nothing civil about this war.

What will be interesting is to see who profits most from this reduction in Saudi oil availability? Russia? US (we are exporting now)? In the short term, whose fuel costs go up the most (Europe?)?

Does this encourage Europe to avoid Iran sanctions and seek their oil? Does this redouble the world's sanctions against Iran?

Does this accelerate the move to electricity or hydrogen for mobility? Does this just accelerate the rest of the world severing ties with the Middle East - how important is the Middle East if we are not oil dependent?

I heard that Iran has weapons of mass destruction.

Sen. Lindsay G. is all for us bombing Iran.

    We should bomb Iran?

    Saudi Air Force:

    F-15E Strike Eagle F-15S/SA 167 25 on order
    F-15 Eagle F-15C 61
    Eurofighter Typhoon 52
Panavia Tornado Italy / United Kingdom 81

Although, from what I've read of Arab Airforces, they really aren't that good.

We are paying the price for our incompetent meddling in the Islamic countries in that area, back to the 50's. Not one President, Democratic or Republican could crack that nut of religious and ethnic hatred between Islamic sects, national ambition and the anti-Semitic desire to destroy Israel.

We also were blinded by cheap oil, instead of developing our own resources - which is being done now. Let Europe bomb Iran, but they don't seem to be hot to trot to war again.
