Graith Belt Users - How Are You Threading The Tail?

Let's see if I can describe this without pictures. The buckle has 2 loops - the inner loop is sewn to the belt and the outer loop is the other. I see 2 ways to thread the tail...

    1. Thread the tail through the inner loop and then through the outer loop (think Wilderness Frequent Flyer).
    2. Thread the tail through the outer loop only, letting the velcro do all the work.

    What are you experts doing?

The first one. Thread it through the loop that’s sewn in place, then back through the independent loop. It’ll put less stress on the Velcro having to hold your belt at the proper tightness. Aka longer longevity.

Option 1 should be the only option.

    80% option 1.

I got the belt sized near perfectly, but I’ve gained about 10lbs after an injury so I have to use option 2 when I wear the belt a bit looser with suspenders.

    Option 1 is optimal, IMO.

Option 1 on the Specialist. I have a couple of the early Mastermind Tactics belts with the smaller buckle that is more difficult to thread through so I use Option 2 on those.
