Nov will be 32 years and my inner belt to hold up the weight a 5" MCOP with a X300 light and 5 total mags seems to be getting tighter.

Fricking hit me a few weeks ago. Odd internal pain from right butt cheek down to my knee. I can be standing with no gun on and have to transfer weight to my left leg due to the pain.
I could easily switch to a G19, ahhhh nope.
Gonna carry this lwt jobber w/147 GD for a spell to see if the pain goes away.
A good PT can buy you several extra years of capability.

If that's happening on last round, then case is falling off extractor and missing the ejector.
Or case is sliding off breach face and being drug back into feed lips

Is it [the extractor hook] full of gunk? [no reflection on your cleaning, but it happens] Is there wear on the extractor? What condition id the ejector in?

Well, its the first time it's ever happened. It was jammed tight with the rim jammed into feed lips of the magazine.
The marks on the case could be new or from previous loadings I don't know.
I'm going to check tension next time I clean it. It is due to be cleaned. It's been over a thousand rounds of cast/lead reloads.
Some years ago
A buddy’s gun did the same thing.
The factory firing pin stop was very sloppy fit and it allowed the extractor to rotate/clock.
I fitted a new FP stop and adjusted the extractor. It fixed the issue.
Might want to discard any mags that got the case shoved back into the feed lips.

If it was dragged into the magazine feed lips then it's the extractor for sure. There is likely little to no tension and the other rounds in the mag were serving as an ejector...until it gets to the last round, when it drags it through the lips.Well, its the first time it's ever happened. I've destroyed a couple 47D magazines this way.
The most definitive way to prove this to run a 10-8 extractor test. If the cases drop out the magwell you know for sure.
