    Glock 43E?

Has anyone heard of a Glock 43E? Nothing seems to come up on Google, but Trijicon has the model listed here:

48 slide with a 43 frame would be possible without doing anything other than combining existing parts.

My guess: It’s a 43 with 48 slide for the Canadian Market. Minimum barrel length for a handgun in Canada is 105mm (G48 is 106mm), iirc

I’m pretty sure it’s a 43 with an extended barrel.

43 Extendable, 43 that can accomodate a 43x mag and extension sleeve. 8 rounds flush fit.

That would be sweet. Are you guessing, or have you heard something?

Intriguing, and I'm surprised there isn't more information available. Any industry events coming up that might be a spot for a likely announcement?

Standard 43 frame cannot accommodate a 43x/48 magazine, so it would need to be an entirely new (shorter) 43x/48 frame. I'd be surprised if Glock made a forth 43 sized gun to include three different frames.

    Wouldn't that make it a Glock 48Eh?

Seems to me Glock made a mistake in releasing the 43 with its current frame width, and then releasing the 43x/48 slightly wider. I wonder if they just cut their losses and replace it with a shorter 43x/48 width model (43E? 43 Gen 2?). 7/8 rounds standard, with the ability to accept 43x/48 magazines.

Replacing the 43 so soon would be painful, but the status quo is also painful.
