Tie for #1 for the Casino Drill: 10.33

Today at the Rangemaster Reunion, Kirk Clark shot a 10.33 Casino Drill. That ties him with James Hale for the official record.

    1. James Hale and Kirk Clark: 10.33
    2. Adam Thrower: 12.07
    3. Clark Sparrow: 12.09
    4. James Hale: 12.20
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

That drill is a lot harder than it looks. And that's a heck of a fast time to shoot it cleanly!

I really wish I had been able to attend. The slots sure filled up fast. I hope you folks have a terrific time!

    So hard.

Kirk is a MACHINE!!! And IIRC James shot it from a duty holster with open top mags. Shooting it from concealment is harder IMHO.

    Negative. James was concealed.

Okay thanks for correcting me. Im even more confused now LOL!!! That they did the same time is amazing.

I had two ladies at the AG&AG conference that shot the same time TWICE on two different drills....

Hate to resurrect an old thread but I’m curious if any new times have been added? Is there a place to find a collection of official rankings?

@Tom Givens is the repository, and as so many of "my guys" are at the top, I keep up with it and was present for all but #2.

1: 10.33 tie between (now) Sheriff James Hale and Kirk.
2: 11.25 Lane Thayer, his was shot in reverse order making him "First Backwards"
    3: 12.07 Adam Thrower
4: 12.09 (now) Sheriff James Hale
    5: 12.20 Clark Sparrow
6: I forget, but I think it is (now) Sheriff James Hale. I think the time was in the 12.3xs.

Hale, Thrower and Sparrow (at the time) are all from my agency. Hale and Sparrow battled it out in successive classes. Hale set a record; Sparrow beat it a few shooters later; the next class Hale shot the 10.33. We have three guys (myself included) who have gotten in the 13s in class.

Thayer isn't with my agency, but he has taken a class from me, and we keep in contact. I timed him with a stopwatch during a group shoot at 11-something in his first Rangemaster class, but he dropped a shot in the individual shoot and ended up with a 13-something.
