    Glock Gen 5 Thumb Ledge

I have asked two manufacturers if they made a thumb ledge for the Gen 5 Glock but they do not. One was Tec Performance can’t remember the other. Does anyone else know if someone does?? Thanks.

What exactly is a thumb ledge for a Glock?

Pretty much what it sounds like, a ledge for your non-dominant hand's thumb to rest on, to help control recoil. Mainly used in USPSA Open and Limited divisions. Something like this: https://stores.sjcguns.com/sjc-frame...it-for-glocks/

OP, I found this but I have no experience with it and it looks a bit flimsy to me. https://www.glockstore.com/Speed-Ledge

Thanks, I saw that and agree it does look like it may be flimsy but I may get one and try it out until someone makes one.

I'd be worried about holster fitment.

Generally it's not a problem with the race holsters that people use in Open and Limited Divisions.
