Outside in a well ventilated area or use a 3M w/organic vapor filters.

What tip/technique did you end up using? That looks very M2.0-ish, which is what I'm increasingly wanting on my G19.

Weller 25 watt woodburner with the fine point tip. It's the tiny dot pattern that's been around forever. I wanted it to look and feel like Taran Tactical's stippling.

It looks good, but how does it feel?

I’ve done my stippling in my restroom with the exhaust fan on.

Let me clarify that I use my spare restroom for most of my Gunsmithing work. It has lots of light, a sturdy counter with lots of drawers, & running water right there, just in case.

It feels like pumice stone or rough sandpaper to me. It provides quite a bit more traction than the rubber talon grips I've been using for years. I really like having texture where my left thumb contacts the frame.
