Seriously considering going back to the 1911 for carry. Anyone else?

Nice collection! I do hate when guys put idiot scratch's into them. Just take the extra two seconds to properly install the slide stop. I hate it when guys say "ITS GOOD WHEN IT HAS A IDIOT SCRATCH, MEANS ITS BEEN MAINTAINED". I have 10 1911's and never put a idiot scratch into any of them.

I've got a gun or two with the idiot scratch....I doesn't make much difference to me tbh. Most of my 1911s are pretty damn ugly anyways.

What kind of holster you running? I may need an IWB kydex option for a future commander build and it will need to accommodate a red dot optic as well.

That’s a DSG Rigel. It’s not made for this application, but it works really well. I use a JM for my RMR 1911 without a light.
