I think the Midwest Industries rail announcement got them into gear. Options are good!

I had occasion to handle a Ruger MSR rifle at a local gun show a few weeks back. Not the lightest rail, but well made and finished.
I bet the new one for the PCC will be the same.

I bet if Ruger doesn't someone will start cranking out adapters for it

Holy crap. Did they decide to put that design into a tumbler with an ugly stick in it???

It's homely, but surprisingly, I like the Ruger rail better than the Midwest Industries aftermarket design. Neither those nor the original stock design hold a candle to a decent walnut-era takedown rifle design, like say a Savage 99.

At #NRAAM I will be bugging whomever for a Sig 320 magwell option for Ruger PCCs.

With the new .40 model, I wonder if it will be possible to get a .357 sig barrel?

.357 Sig is nasty out of a 16" - Speer Gold Dot's are 125gr @ 1850fps / 950 ftlbs, which is about identical to the M1 Carbine in terms of energy and velocity.

    Underwood 115gr's are clocking 2050fps / 1073 ftlbs.

I'm still surprised that Ruger hasn't joined the trend to pistol carbines and released a Charger version complete with an SB Tactical brace. And a Magpul Backpacker stock.

They are waiting until you buy one of the 16” guns.

A non take down version with a folding stock would be nice.

Right? Definitely have that suomi/ops vibe going on.
