All I know is the Canadians in BC hate the Quebecers.

I watched an interesting exchange between a hotel clerk and some Quebecers in Vancouver BC one time. These two women from Quebec were checking in and they insisted on speaking French. Although the clerk was Canadian he spoke no French. Finally these women spoke in English and ripped the clerk a new one for not knowing how to speak French. Clerk said they were all like that from Quebec. They think French is the nat'l language but nobody on the west coast speaks French. We get used to it. It was pretty damn funny.
