    Sig Recoil Spring Interchangeability?

I've got a Wolff recoil spring in my P6 and want to replace it with a new factory one. The only place I've found one is the Sig factory store, as part of a parts kit for $24 - not really that bad, but I'll probably lose the other parts before I'll need them. Wolff advertises their springs as replacements for the 225, 228 and 229. Can I ASS U ME that factory recoil springs will interchange? Not that I've been able to find factory recoil springs for the 228 or 229 either, but it'd be good to know.

Numrich lists the same part number for both the 225 and the 228. Probably just me, but it seems like I am always needing to steal a screw out of the parts kits for my 228s and 229s. Tried locktite, lock washers, etc.

P228 spring will work fine in the P225/P6.

I've used P229 in a P228 before, but I don't think the springs had the same rating, which would make sense since a stainless slide P229 is about 2oz heavier than a carbon slide P228
