    Many great PA pistolsmiths have hung it up or moved. For a small job I would start with JC Blauvelt or the Handgunner shop in topton PA. John Yanek or Jim Garthwaite if you can stand to wait.

    - les Baer - he tolerated me coming to his old shop and asking dumb questions, he did an action job on my S&W 17. His XP100 work was crazy good. I called Dick Heinie back in the 80s for a price sheet. Once he heard my address he said go see Les Baer and hung up on me.

    Jim Milk at Innovative Custom Guns does outstanding work for fair prices. I am very fussy.
    Jim worked at EGW and they referred me to him.
    Garthwaite built 3 guns for me many years ago. Be prepared to wait.
    When I wanted a steel feed ramp on my Commander I sent it to Jim Milk.
