The fact that shame is now a foreign entity bodes ill for our country.

Right now I am busy translating the page for a Bittner P78.

    That is a must have.

Largely for professional reasons. I've had close to 0 say in where I've lived since I graduated college. I would move back to NH/ME without any qualms, but yeah, not gonna lie, would never live in MA/RI/CT again unless I had 0 choice.

There is ALWAYS a choice. You can choose to earn less, and be free.

I have strong familial ties to New England. I have visited there very frequently to perform family obligations.

I cannot foresee ever living there unless substantive changes, which are quite improbable, ever occur.

Maine is now in a death spiral, and while their productive worker population dies off (they have a negative reproductive curve), the Somali's and indigenous dirtbag population increases.
NH/VT are already gone due to a "Californication" style of effect from those who flee from the wastelands that they create, to repeat the infection cycle.

To some extent - unfortunately, because I am very career driven, I will probably sacrifice some happiness in order to get my post-graduate medical training at top institutions. After that I will give myself a little more slack, but you only get one shot at residency and fellowship, and I want to train with the best in whatever I choose to do.

You made my point. Just because you don't favor a certain choice doesn't mean you don't have choices.
