Shopping for a minimalist holster, and was checking out the VG2.
RCS says it's not compatible with Gen5, but I can't see why it wouldn't be. Anyone here know why it doesn't work?

Fits Gen 3, Gen 4 not the Gen 5 Glock 9/40/357 Pistols.

Usually the only difference in the gen5 when it comes to holster fit, is the ambidextrous slide release so, although I wouldn't recommend it, I don't know why that type of "holster" wouldn't fit the gun.

I’ve had no problems with a Gen 5 G17. So no idea.

Probably more of a CYA than anything for them, mine works on my gen 5 as does the Eidolon.

My vg2 works in a 19x and 45. Seems to work like every other Glock.
It works as long as you don't mind scraping the ambi slide stop against the inside of the holster. Doing so makes the holster bow out a bit. I have an Eidolon and cut it to make it ACTUALLY work with Gen5's.Originally Posted by alex

VG2 works fine on G45 and 19.5 as is, IME.
