    RFI: Defensive bandanna

Within the past 2 years I remember seeing a company that was marketing a bandanna that had a reinforced pouch sewn into one corner. This pouch was sized and shaped to allow the bandanna to be stuffed into itself or to "store" a roll of quarters. Now, I cannot remember for the life of me, who made this. Does anyone remember this bandanna and/or know where to source one?

    Thanks in advance!

Your friendly neighborhood 81's have been using "defensive bandanas" for years, albeit padlocked instead of a sewn in pouch.

I'm pretty sure that was not the maker/vendor. This is the right type of thing though. Anyone still making them?

Yep, it's an effective improvised "tool". Along those same lines .... a friend gave me this for Christmas. It's made with 3.5 oz of lead with a loop to accommodate a bandanna, cording, etc. A local LEO makes them as a hobby.

James A Keating, through his evil-bay store, sells a defensive bandana/kerchief. The pocket is quite small; one is not going to be able to load it with very much weight. The bandana/kerchief, itself, is the main defensive component, rather than the slung weight/mass.

If I can ever figure out how to work a sewing machine I want to make some with a pocket big enough to hold a soda/beer can with stitching strong enough to survive hitting someone with it a few times.

    That is very cool.

I wonder what the wait time is.
