    Adjusting the P30 mag release?

I thought the hump in the trigger guard was rubbing the bottom of my trigger finger when pulling the trigger and was all set to go to town with a file and emery board. After paying closer attention, it turns out the mag release paddle sticks up on both sides just enough to catch my finger.

Can it be adjusted to sit level (or at least low enough to miss my finger) or does it have to be modified (sanded, heated and bent, etc)?

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you noticed the mag release rubbing when the magazine was removed from the pistol. Check the release again with a mag inserted and see if it is still rubbing. The release sits higher up without a mag. You may not want to make any alterations if it doesn't bother you with a magazine in place.

Yep, all of mine stick up slightly without a mag, and are level with one in.

That damn trigger trough is all kinds of irritating! Literally. Or rather it was. I took the dremel to it.

So far I've resisted contouring the mag release. It's right on the cusp of getting whacked but it's not bad enough to make me do it yet. I wear a XXL glove size and they are still snug.

It's sticking up with the mag inserted. Within a couple of mags it's enough to be distracting as it starts to irritate the finger. My fingers aren't sausage-like but they are stubby and sort of chubby...
