    New stippling job

Quite pleased with how it turned out. Can’t really hang with the laser engravers but I like it and it cost $0.

Very cool looking -- and no doubt effective on the frontstrap and side panels. Don't you expect it to slow you down when obtaining the firing grip?

Not really, for a number of reasons.

    • I work in construction, my hands are pretty calloused and I prefer rough texture
    • It’s not for competition so I’m not worried about fractions of a second
    • The ridges are sanded now (did more of that after I took pics) so it’s more “smooth with holes” than a bunch of sharp ridges
    • This is a chopped 17 and my original stipple looked like ass so this is much better anyway

    a) tee hee. b) That makes sense to me. I tried to run an old-school custom 1911 that had a checkered speed bump on the grip safety and it jacked me up, but I have soft ladylike hands.

I like it, I'm more function over form anyways. Like the 17 chopped to a 19.
The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.

    Humbly improving with CZ's.
