It’s flyover country, the bi-coastal media couldn’t care less.
I saw some bit on it in the bing news thumbs and read it. I just drove through Ne monday, but the flooding was news to me. Levels werent up high enough to be a problem at that time apparently.

Yes, thats one of the things the news bit I saw mentioned as a major change. They were talking about shutting down a nuke plant if the water hit a certain point, and it was expected to that night.
Sorry to hear this Sigfan, I hope you, your family, friends and loved ones will be safe and that damage will be minimal. I know how devastating mother nature can be.
