Sight Options for Novak 1911 cuts

All my trit is dead. So I need to replace sights. I have basically walked in circles and circles and part of me feels like I’m just missing something.

    What I KNOW I want:

Square notch rear in the .13-.14” range.
    Front in the .125-.130” range.

    What I think I want:

Either a 6 o’clock hold with a lined front sight and plain rear (example, Harrison Custom YOST front, plain or serrated rear)

Or a center drive-the-dot hold In a figure 8 configuration (w/trit) and serrated

Or a drive-the-dot with a single trit dot, serrated, front and vertical rear bar.

    What I DO NOT want:

A U-shaped or V-shaped rear sight notch (no XS and no HDs)

What I might be okay with:

    3-dot Novaks
Horizontal rear bar w/square notch (still not sure, honestly)
    Non-serrated sights

    Sights I’m considering:

Harrison Customs: Yost front, Square Notch Extreme Duty Rear
Novak: Adjustable plain rear w/trit front
Heinie: Straight 8 - Classic/Original (whatever they call it) with two trit dots

If anyone knows of a square-notch bar-dot setup out there, I’m interested. This format is one my brain interprets very easily and I do a lot of good fast work and slow precision work. Better than any other setup I’ve run, really. I just don’t like the V of the XS.

Novak offers a square notch rear sight with a tritium bar (horizontal). You may not find a lot of options with a vertical bar since it requires so much real estate beneath the notch.

The Harrison offering is probably very good.
