    Springfield Model 67e

I found a shotgun that my grandfather probably bought in the 60s or 70s. He passed away in the 90s, but I am helping my grandmother go through his stuff.

The shotgun is marked as a Springfield 67E. I have never heard about these, but I have read some information about these via google search.

Does anyone here know about these shotguns?

    Actually it’s marked 67F.

    Thanks for the reply.

There does not seem to be a ton of in depth info. From what I read it’s a cheap shotgun that works for most people but can be problematic, especially later models. This one seems to be an early model.

The Army used Model 77Es in Vietnam (same as a 67E) and Michael Douglas had a 67 in Black Rain.

    That's all I got.
