That was the point I was poorly making. Avoiding the threat, as in seeing and taking some sort of evasive action (ie awareness), and not doing stupid things, such as drawing your gun when the situation didn't warrant it, are two common subjects of discussion.
Bottom line, there is more to many classes than just shooting.
