    Robar glock trigger

Anyone try one of these? One of my gen 4 glocks refuses to break in and is a gritty mess. Would be getting the factory trigger coated in np3

I tried going that route when I was shooting Gen 4 17s. For me, the Robar coated connector was a marginal improvement, but nothing earth shattering. I couldn't really ever get those triggers to where I wanted them, and abandoned my Gen 4s when the Gen 5 was released.

I have three NP3 Glock triggers. It won't make it feel any different. Same as the $0.25 trigger job, but the plating won't flake off and cause failures, which made it worthwhile to me.

I've seen some reports that the GEN5 trigger housing (w/spring) and trigger bar will fit in a GEN4. I haven't tried this yet myself, but might be an option. GEN5 triggers are definitely an improvement over the GEN4.

I believe you have to also use a Gen5 slide cover plate as well.

Every aftermarket trigger that I know of still uses a factory trigger bar, so for that aspect then no. What you have to check is with a shortened reset - if it's too short, the cruciform may not be engaging the striker safely. Creating a "hair trigger". If you're going to mess around, get the armorer backplate that let's you check it. Cheap insurance. FTR I've got multiple Suarez triggers and all have acceptable engagement.

Shouldn't. I have a Suarez trigger too, and I check engagement any time I clean the gun, about once a year.

For a bit less you can go All OEM except the springs, and have the polished NP3 trigger bar.
