Trigger Warnings, Safe Spaces, and Report Post

    Fellow PF dwellers,

The REPORT POST feature is an excellent resource which quickly alerts the admin to any shenanigans on the forum. Typically our response time is good.

Itís appropriate to bring our attention to excessive profanity, racial slurs, pornography, Astro-turfing, and all the other kinds of disruptive guff that happens here and there.

    HOWEVER...

If you find your finger hovering over the REPORT POST button because of some political disagreement, you may be looking for a Safe Space. If MAGA triggers you or ANTIFA triggers you or whatever else in the news triggers you, just walk away from the thread.

    Grow thicker skin.

REPORT POST is not for ORANGE MAN BAD nor is it for SJWs nor DEMONRATS nor LIBERTARDIANS etc.

    You get the idea.

Thanks again for all your help policing Pistol Forum.

Also, please continue to use it for anything that requires administrative attention.

If something doesnít really meet the criteria explained above, but getting it off your chest will provide some cathartic relief, you are always welcome to send me a PM ó Iím here for you.

In that sense, would you guys prefer report posts for when we need to split a thread (recent night stand thread as an example) or an alternative like @ tagging?

I'd prefer using the report post button. It goes to all the admins (myself, LL, and Jay) and doesn't require people to remember to include the underscore in my username (which is omitted about half the time and ends up tagging a dude with the username Tom instead of me).
