    I snagged this at my local Gun shop for a fair price. Curious as to roughly when it was made? The shop told me it spent the last 30 years of its life ina draw next to the cash register at a local merchants shop.. The guns very clean and it locks up tight as a drum. I’m very happy with it

    What a nice example of a great old Smith. The original owner chose wisely and so did you!

    Great Catch! Congrats! When I bought a couple of older S&W revolvers, I called up Smith CS. They will do their best to give you a date right over the phone.
