    Just ordering off the menu:

    Double action trigger job
    Custom S & W over travel pin
    Radius thumb latch S & W
Install Novak front sight in most revolvers
    Chamfer and polish revolver breech
    Chamfer and polish muzzle (recrown)
    Square revolver barrel/cylinder gap
    Chamfer cylinder
    Square yoke face
    Align yoke

Plus anything else he thinks should be done.

Karl un-fucked a couple of my revolvers for me late last year. He did the work fast, too.

I'm glad somebody else picked it up before I could.

That's the coolest model 66 I've ever seen. Now I have to try and find one for myself. Congratulations on your score, make sure you update us with some pictures!

I picked it up today. It’s a really cool gun. I really like the bead-blasted finish and the action job.

    I think that a 3” K-frame is about the perfect size. I have a 3” 686 CS-1, but I think I’ll prefer the K-frame to the L-frame.

I’ll probably end up getting new grips for it, if anyone has any suggestions.

Ahrends round butt tactical finger grooves. That's what's on my 3" model 65 and they are fucking fantastic. Excuse my french.

I've never owned a handgun that indexed so naturally and effortlessly as a round butt K frame with Kim Ahrends' tactical grips.

I'll be honest, those pachymayrs look perfect.

Do you want g10 or wood?

I like the looks of the Pach’s, but the seam is a mess in the area under the trigger guard, and left a place on my middle finger after just a little dry firing. I suppose I could work on that area and smooth it out.

This will be a working gun, I don’t want any fancy wood or anything...honestly, rubber or G10 would be just fine.

Look into the checkered VZ grips. I have the square butt grips on my m19 and my wife has the smooth square butt grips on Her M15. The checkering is very helpful with magnums.

The straight black ones should look as good as the pachymayrs.
