    Ruger announces 3" .357 LCRx

    https://www.guns.com/news/2019/02/06...rrel-357-model

...Ruger...announced a new version of the LCRx wheel gun chambered in .357 Magnum. While the LCRx small-frame revolver series has been around for several years in both a 3-inch format and in .357, the combination of the two features is new for the company. Previously, the popular magnum caliber was just offered in the LCRx line in a 1.87-inch barrel length model.

Interesting. I don't know that it's interesting enough for me to blow the dust off my wallet, but perhaps the Wheels of Justification will turn in my head eventually.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

Took them long enough! It would be a really nice gun for shooting stout 38 +P.
    Real guns have hammers.

You've got a set too, eh? I need someone to throw a wooden shoe into mine as they seem to be overly adept at justifying *things*.

Interesting. But since I have a 3” Model 60, the Wheels of Justification would have to grind a lot harder.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

I have one of the 3" .38 special versions, and Cor-bon DPX 110gr +P and similar loads is about all the recoil I care to manage in this particular platform.

This is probably not as bad as the .357 scandium J frames, but not going to be worth the squeeze to me.

I'd seriously be tempted if it was a 6 shot.

Gimme a 6-shot but with the internal hammer. And dovetailed sights.

You need a back up for the M60, don't you?

Yup. A 3", shot .357 has been on my list of guns I want to buy since... um... well, for a long while now.

(Of course, I have no pressing need for one, so on that list it shall remain for another long while, unless something unforeseen happens. Still though. It would be neat to have options, in case I end up buying a new revolver.)
