JMCK AIWB and Dan Wesson Specialist

Posted a thread a few weeks ago about whether I should send a Colt to a Custom Shop or just go buy a higher end 1911. My LGS has a DW Specialist in the shop and their distributor has several more. It feels good enough in my hand that I think I may jump on it, but I have an additional concern. I've got a standard version of Tony's AIWB holster for each of my carry pistols including one for a MC Operator, and a Colt Rail Gun. I'm pretty sure the holsters were based off of the same railed government model mold, which is to say the railed Springfield. The CRG didn't fit quite as well as it did out of the box, but Tony tweaked it for me and now it's perfect. However, the dust cover on the Specialist is shaped differently than the Colt and the Springfield, and has that almost "C" shaped ball cut. I'm concerned that the rail extends further toward the barrel and will impede holster fit. Anybody have a Specialist in an AIWB holster? It took me nearly a decade to find a holster that I can comfortably conceal day in and day out without issue and I ain't switching now.

Crash41984, I just received confirmation that the mold I was trying fits the Colt Rail Gun, so it will fit the specialist. You like the traditional AIWB, which I think these will work great for, but they probably won't work well for the claw designs. If you order, let me know in the comments you have the DW Specialist. Thanks
