Not that it's a bad looking gun.

    Just that it's a Taurus. A 2", 7 round .357 at 28 oz for $400 just seems perfect.

Of course I've been burned by taurus three times so doubt I'll ever trust them but sure looks like a great carry gun.

I really wish Taurus produced reliable firearms. Their revolver line up, as a whole, is much more interesting to me than S&W and Ruger. Sadly reality is not a friend to my dreams.

    Semi-auto, FIFY version.

    Right?

I knew three guys that all dated the same crazy girl at different times and it worked out the same for all of them. Taurus makes a DA revolver with interchangeable cylinders in 22lr and .22 mag. I actually had one in my online shopping cart once, and realized it would be like trying to date that girl...
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

I tried to give Taurus a chance. Three times, there different PT1911s. All three had the same issue (hammer follow) and all three took multiple trips back. This was over the course of a decade.

    However.....

*If* you get a Taurus that actually works it will *generally* continue to work. I'm pretty sure Taurus plays the odds that most people that buy them don't actually shoot all that much and thus the problems will never arise.

    That said...

I will never own a Taurus again.

That might be the catch. Probably much easier to design a gun if longevity and durability isn't a concern.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.
