    I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

    Thanks for that. I picked up one also.

    Good for a backup or a farm gun but not what I'd want to use as a primary.

    I've got an extra 870 that needs a light, I'll give one of these a try. I'm a big Surefire fan, but have been happy with the TLR1-HL I've been using.

    I want one for my 590 but $225 is too much for me.

    I took a close look at these during SHOT. The reps were pretty sure retail would be in the $150-175 range.

    Lower profile than the common SF offering;

    Output of their LED bulb was reported to be in the 800lmns range;

    I'll pick up at least one for a 870;

    The only concern I have, and its coming from a L/E perspective, is the battery cap and a LectroLok may be problematic in terms of their location. They may well end up banging into each fairly often.

    I'm in for an 870 unit as well. I'll report on how it works after I get it.

    At $140-150 I'm interested. If it's closer to the $225 price point, I may consider the Steiner for the TAC-14 just because.

    Other than it sticking out ahead of the muzzle (only an issue with SBS or extended mags), what's wrong with it?

    Full disclosure, I have one, but it's well behind the muzzle and seems to work well. I've only put about 30 rounds through the gun with it so far (25 Fed FC Buckshot and 5 Fed Deep Penetrator slugs).

    I’m interested in the 870 version...

    Also, since the Steiner has come up a couple of times in this thread... my thoughts at the link below.

    Turning it on an off takes your hand off the forend and no momentary on.

    Good quality light, just poorly thought out for a fighting gun.
