    Florida?

Spending a week in the keys and Miami next month, what's the deal with small fixed blades? GTG or no go?

Without a license Florida law limits you to a "common pocketknife", which isn't further defined.

Miami-Dade County has different knife laws:

A FL CWP allows carry of knives, but a FL resident in MI can only carry a gun. I don't know if a MI resident in FL would get FL privileges or not.

Florida generally treats other state's carry permits as what they say on its face: if it's a concealed "handgun" permit then fixed blades are a no-go. Everyone down here carries pocketknives.
