Agents arrived. First time with a yellow/lime front. I’m liking it more than my normal orange fronts. Hopefully these will shoot to the top of the front blade.

Well, I took the plunge. Have a pair of G48s heading to my FFL. Will be my first new Glock in 2-3 years; excited to wring them out.

@Jay23 What are the sight heights of those (front sight in particular). Thanks!

Why did you pick the 48's over the 43x? Just wondering.

I already have a pair of 43s and can use those slides to mess around with the "43x" if I really want to.

Most importantly, I saw a used 48 for sale in the classifieds here, and, well, here we are.

I finally retired my jframe and snagged a G48 last December, what a fantastic skinny pistol! I put a piece of bicycle inner tube on the grip, a set of ameriglo sights, and some spare mags, otherwise I have been shooting it since and being impressed.

I bought a 43x today. Traded a gun I recently bought in on it that I didn’t like but I don’t like having guns I don’t shoot. I’m a die hard 19 guy and wasn’t a huge fan of my 43 so we’ll see how the 43x is. I’m going to have fun with it on a timer next to a 19.

That'll be fun. Give it a bit of shooting to get the hang of its handling before you score it for grades.

A 19 or 17 is certainly easier to shoot, but the questions are how much easier, is that relevant in your defense scenarios, and how much easier does it conceal and carry.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

To me the 43X shoots just like a... 43

    Didn't feel anything like a 19 or even 26.
