We told you not to refinish it.

Some wear on it will only increase its beauty, plus it’ll all be your wear on it, which has its own intangible value.
Per the PF Code of Conduct, I have a commercial interest in the StreakTM product as sold by Ammo, Inc.

Double tragedy in this thread. Refinished, and now being kept as a safe queen. An ignominious end to a fighting pistol if ever there was one. (But congratulations on your acquisition, anyway).

On the other hand it will save me a lot of money- After seeing this, I've decided not to have either of my well-worn Springfield Professionals refinished.

They bear many scars from the caliche of Gunsite's ranges, among other things, each one of which reminds me of a story.

No it's not. I mean, yes it looks great -- but... shoot it.

If you don't shoot it, the ghosts of Browning, Cooper and Earl Swagger will haunt you.

    Nice reference.

G Man was one of Hunter's better books in recent times. I tried to read the JFK book and the Jack the Ripper one. Neither held my attention long enough to bother finishing.

I always liked Dirty White Boys although I haven't read it in a number of years. I might have to revisit it sometime soon.

Disagree. I think it’s beautiful, but not too pretty to shoot, just perfect to shoot.
