I'm not sure why everyone is making light of this. The old timers who moved from the NE are going to freeze to death.

Jeezus, for gods sake, have some compassion, please.

It was 3 when I went to work this morning (Northeast). By 9AM, it had warmed up to 9, and I actually thought it felt alright.

Not even close to my personal commute record of -17. HTFU.

I seem to remember my old apartment on Key Biscayne having heat. Does no one have the H in HVAC down there anymore?

Went for a walk in my neighborhood at 15 deg. F. It was sunny and very nice - I did have the correct jacket, pants and boots. Worst I have been in was a -70 wind chill years ago.

A walk in a cold sunny morning with the right clothes is more pleasant that a 100 degree day walk.

We don't have the AC in HVAC here. Don't need it. I like my H tho.

Climate change may change that soon. Getting warmer.

15 F and sunny? Downright Balmy!
(I'm only half joking.) Proper clothing can make it very very pleasant.

Well, that kind of misses the point. I lived down there for 17 years. When it got cold, (rarely), we turned on the heat. My wife actually saw snow down there once. Of course, I was in NH skiing and missed it.

She probably had the heat turned up the entire time you were gone.

It was 55 degrees and some water was falling out of the sky for some reason while I was driving to work at 6am today. I should have called off work, was starting to think a swarm of locusts would be next. Luckily there are these sticks on my windshield that kept wiping away the moisture.

    You mean "mullet" right?
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.
