    This is why I paid somebody to install mine. First hint of the factory stuff not coming out as expected, and it was off to the smith.

    And he bitched about how tight things were.

    I'll change sights on a GLOCK anytime. My Beretta? Nope. Those things are on there forever now.

    Thirded, I am pretty amazed at how you managed to salvage that based on the first pics. Please be nicer to that poor Beretta going forward.

    That is my understanding as well, with Berettas and most guns I’ve worked on. Another way to phrase it is, the sight goes in and comes out from the left side of the gun.

    I did the same thing to my 92A1 a few years back not knowing how tight the front sight was. Once you get behind the 8 ball with a punch and hammer, its hard to quit. In my case once I knew I'd botched it, I had to drift it back in place to have something usable.
