L.E.O.S.A. Qualification in Missouri when moving from another state.

We moved from Illinois to rural Missouri late last year and I need to renew my qualification and not finding much information online about how to switch from Illinois to Missouri. We are rural Webster County near Seymour. Any information is appreciated.

I’d reach out to your Sheriff in your area and pose the question. Some local agencies conduct qualifications for QRLEOs as a courtesy or charge a nominal fee.

A quick Google search showed several Sheriffs offices and local PDs, as well as Missouri State University and what looks like a private vendor all offering the service. I agree, contact your local agency. They'll point you in the right direction.

LEOSA has a lot of complicated language and elements, but the qual process is generally pretty straightforward. It's not a matter of "transferring" your qualification, it's just a matter of doing the qual to the standard of your new state of residence.
