    Just scored and old 28-2!

Been wanting one of these for some time. All I ever see are those with the soul extraction hole in them. I'm a little pumped!

Gorgeous. I have a 28-3 myself. Beautiful guns.

Yeah, debating on the grip situation. These aren't original or number to the gun and all that jazz, but I'm told they're "period correct".

I have big hands, but I'm a fan of the Pachmayr Presentation grips, if you can tolerate Goodyears. They are available without the horsey.

I have recently learned that the "small" N frame Presentation is actually bigger than the "large" N frame Presentation in every way except that it's too short to fit my pinky fully on the front strap.

In the desert, looking for water.
    I really enjoy my 6” 28-2.

I had to do it. I'm still stinging for passing a pair of Lew Horton snubbies some years ago. A .41 and .44, NIB with all the goodies and I had the cash for both. I'm still kicking myself in the ass.

We just don't see these classics pop up at fair prices much anymore. From the additional pics he sent me, it looks kosher mechanically. It's been shot, but doesn't appear excessively or abused. And these are work horses.

    Ha! I did too.

Congrats. That’s a good looking iron.
