Thanks. I've owned this Colt for about twenty five years. I used to hunt coyotes with it at 100 yards, when my eyes were younger. The nickeled sights really can be a challenge in the sunlight.
I had a nice USFA as well.
I let it go down the road right before the company went belly up. I've always regretted that, it was a beauty. When I divested myself of most of my western guns I kept the Colt rather than the USFA simply because it's the real deal and for some sentimental reasons.

Indeed it is. I resist by telling myself how cruel it would be to my arthritic right shoulder and how I no longer have easy access to a shooting location with the kind of range that would make shooting it worthwhile. I don't know if logic is enough to win the case.

Those don't have to kick that hard, if you roll your own (cigar-sized) ammo for them.
