    All your 1911 is obsolete...

One of my buddies sent me this from EWA. I'm both aghast and intrigued.

This is a conversation piece any 1911 collector would love to have. I don't know if the BATF will go easy on it, though. The question is whether it's a machine gun since one drop of the hammer fires two rounds.

Can you imagine the FAST Drill with one of those? "Two shots to the head? No problem."

Conversely, imagine how slow a malfunction drill would be? Especially since we're doubling the likelihood of it happening...

I find it difficult to believe that a shooting public which often has trouble controlling a single outgoing bullet is really in need of a pistol that fires two of them at once.

It's silly, useless, and if somebody actually asked me about making one prior to doing it I would laugh at them and call them names.

...but because I'm a complete gun-tard I still want one for absolutely no rational reason. It's like one of those tiny giraffes from that commercial. How do you best having an expensive, finicky, difficult to produce handgun? By welding two of them together!

    Opulence...I wants it.

Does CCC have a blue gun for this "gun"?

It's like a proper Italian super car. It's pointless, ridiculous, melodramatic, and completely over the top...and that makes it completely awesome. Is buying a Glock a smarter decision? Yes. But so is buying a Toyota Camry instead of a Zonda F.
