    Sparks at muzzle breech

    I have a Glock 19 gen5 MOS.

On occasion I see sparks come out of the muzzle breech when shooting. Most prevalent when shooting 147 Grain bullets. Relevant fact. I have about 600 rounds shot with minimal lubrication.

    Should I be concerned?

    Thanks

I wouldn't think so. Most likely just unburned powder and other byproducts of ignition of the powder charge.

Completely normal. Lighting conditions, type of powder used (flash supprecents added or not), shooters ability to see (keep eyes open) all contribute. It’s unburnt powder igniting.

Is this happening at the muzzle, or at the breech? Those are two different locations...

    Sorry brain fart. Barrel breech.

American Eagle 147 grain and Magtech 115grain. Noticed more with 147.

Sparks at the breech (the chamber end) may be a problem. If that's where they're happening, you possibly have a lock up issue. If they're happening at the muzzle, that's not unusual and can be due to ammo characteristics or debris being blown from the bore by the projectile.

That was my main concern. How can I assess? Is it possible that it is insufficient lubrication?

The batch of new AE 147 I received sparks like a monkey-wired fuze panel.
